3. Hi Linda!

   Unfortunately there is no train service from Michigan to Alaska, your best bet option would be an Alaska Marine Highway Ferry connection out of Bellingham, Washington and into Skagway, Alaska. From there you could board the White Pass Yukon Railroad connection to Whitehorse, Yukon and take the Alaska Yukon Trails bus from there into Fairbanks, Alaska! This trip would have a few parts to it but would give you an amazing overall view of both Southeast and Southcentral Alaska!

4. The Denali Borough School District includes three schools along an 80-mile stretch of the Parks Highway and also participates in a state wide correspondence study program. The three schools include Anderson, Cantwell and Tri-Valley.
